On Wednesday (July 9), PT Petro Oxo Nusantara welcomed an industrial visit from lecturers and Master’s students of Mechanical Engineering from Institut Teknologi PLN as part of a field study on Carbon Capture.
The visit was warmly received by Mr. Bayu Hendratomo, Production Department Manager, and Mr. Yuliansyah, Superintendent Process Engineer.

During the visit, participants received presentations on Carbon Capture, the LCO₂ production process, and various innovations developed by PT Petro Oxo Nusantara. The students also had the opportunity to tour the LCO₂ plant area to observe the operational processes firsthand. An interactive discussion session was held throughout the visit, allowing students to explore the practical implementation of these technologies in the industrial setting.

This visit is expected to broaden the practical knowledge of the Master’s students regarding the application of Carbon Capture technologies and LCO₂ production processes. It also serves to connect theoretical concepts from their academic studies with real-world industrial practices, supporting their future development in research and innovation.
